In late 1991, he and his wife Nadine made the decision to move to Ottawa and it was then that he started to pursue his career in the financial advisory industry.
Licensed as a registered representative through the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), Rob brings not only investment knowledge to his client relationships, but also his accounting skills and the additional education he received through the attainment of the Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®) in 1997 and the Chartered Investment Manager designation (CIM®) in 2015.
Rob has received many accolades over the years, including being recognized in 2000 as one of Ottawa’s “Top 40 Under 40” most successful business people (Ottawa Business Journal), and one of Canada’s top 50 financial advisors in 2015, awarded by Wealth Professional magazine.
Rob and his wife Nadine were married in 1989 and have two adult sons. The growth and development of them has been the main focus of both Rob and Nadine, including being an example for them in charitable work. Rob and Nadine successfully ran the “Ottawa Senators/65 Roses Sports Club” for 12 years raising in excess of $1million for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, and then founded the Finding Hope Foundation and the “100 Holes of Hope” golf marathon, raising another $275,000 for local health initiatives since 2013. In 2016, Rob was recognized by Wealth Professional magazine with the national award for the “Community Service Effort of the Year”.
